Events and Festival Industry Workshop
The Events and Festivals Industry Workshop is an initiative of Events South Australia. It aims to provide a forum for the South Australian events industry to network, share information and workshop topics that affect all events and hear from industry leaders.
Workshops will be held in each of South Australia’s tourism regions. The next workshop will be in the Flinders Ranges. Details are being finalised and will be announced here shortly.

SATC Regional Workshops
The SATC often runs regional workshops which involve various units of the SATC such as Marketing, International, PR, Events, Destination Development and Strategy and Insights. Each of these workshops will be tailored to suit the region, including topics which will be of most interest and use to the operators.
There is no cost to attend these workshops.

South Australia – Uncorked!
This one day workshop is an opportunity for South Australian operators to meet with invited travel trade (inbound tour operators, domestic wholesalers and online travel agents). The event will be held on Thursday 1 September 2016. Seller registrations are now closed and a waitlist is operating.

2017 New Zealand Roadshow
The dates for the next New Zealand Roadshow are 22 to 29 March 2017. Run annually by the SATC, the roadshow targets consumers direct and travel trade. Previous New Zealand roadshows have attracted up to 1,000 consumers interested in travelling to Adelaide and South Australia. While this is predominantly a consumer roadshow, retail travel agents are also invited to attend the events to upskill on the destination. A special product managers' training session is held to give you the opportunity to speak directly with wholesalers in a series of 10 minute appointments. Registrations will open in August.

Tourism Exchange (ATE) is Australia’s largest annual travel and tourism
business-to-business event. It brings together Australia’s tourism industry in
a forum to showcase their products directly to tourism wholesalers and
retailers from around the world, through a combination of scheduled business
appointments and networking events. ATE17 will be held in Sydney from 14 to 18
May 2017. Applications for sellers will open in September/October this

Trade show financial support for tourism operators
SATC maintains a dedicated team in Adelaide which helps to coordinate South Australian industry representation at trade and consumer shows throughout the world. Financial support is often available to South Australia based operators in the form of a subsidy. For more information, please read the trade show subsidy guidelines.
